Its founder, Merav Salomon is an illustrator, educator, and book artist. Her visual books have won several international awards, including the 2013 Best Illustrated Book by the UK Association of Illustrators, the 2014 3x3 Proshow, the 2015 gold medal from the NY Society of Illustrators, and the 2024 EDR Design Award.

Merav lives in Tel-Aviv Jaffa and is the mother of two daughters.
